Villa Halara

We loved the beautiful view across Mykonos and the house itself. The host, who is also a great chef, cooked for us one day, and even gave us wine for my birthday. The hosts were so kind and nice. I've never experienced people quite like them on a holiday. Best house we've stayed in on vacation!

We visited in June and the location was wonderful. The lovely couple looking after us were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. I'd recommend their houses and services, they're a true gem of original island hospitality. Hope to see you again!

Paralia Ftelias was a highlight for me. It's close to the villa and felt like a peaceful escape, without the usual tourist crowds. There was a little debris or plastic around, but it didn't take away from the beach's beauty. The waves were impressive and the water was delightfully warm. On windy days, though, the waves can get quite strong. The villa sits up high in the middle of the island, so the views from every window are amazing, and beaches and attractions are easy to reach. The owners were warm and kind, and had helpful suggestions for local restaurants serving fresh native food and for beaches. Spending time with them is a lovely way to learn more about Greek culture. There are cats around the villa, but they give you space and add to the welcoming feel. We also saw hedgehogs, donkeys, and goats nearby, which added to the sense of being in Greece. For anyone looking to experience the island's local character, this villa is a wonderful find.

Such a peaceful setting, with lovely nature all around. The people, atmosphere, and interior design were all wonderful. It was incredibly relaxing here. Can't wait to come back!❤️
