Aeolos Villas Zefyros Apartment

The pool is nicely situated among the different bungalows, with enough sunbeds even when several families are there. Aeolos Villas also worked really well for travelling with family or friends, since everyone can have their own apartment. We spent a great week in spacious, very clean apartment 201 Meltemi, which had a balcony and a lovely view over olive trees. The kitchen was well equipped, and a cleaning lady came each morning to tidy up and leave fresh towels.

The location is far enough north to feel quiet at night, and we had a superb sunrise view from our balcony. We were two families with children, and the villa suited us perfectly. The pool was great for having fun together. A really good place to stay, absolutely recommended.

The view at dawn is priceless, and the pool was clean. The rooms were decent for the price, so we had a good stay apart from two things: the lizards, which bothered my girlfriend, and the long check-in for me. It took around 45 minutes to get checked in, including trying to reach the people who were meant to help us. Also, if your girlfriend, wife, or daughter is afraid of little lizards, you may want to keep that in mind and hide them from each other. It wasn't really a downside for me, but it could be for them.

Villa Levante was impressively spacious, clean, and well equipped, and the pool and loungers were immaculate. The pool area gets loads of sun and has little breeze. We arrived by taxi from Zakynthos Airport, about 25 minutes and €40, and the concierge welcomed us. Great value for money. Walking is a little tricky at first: you have to cover 150 metres along a narrow, busy road before reaching the first pavement, so stay alert. The villa owner has cars and quads for rent if you want to get around that way. There are also plenty of nice beach bars nearby. We had a really nice stay and would recommend it.
