Apollonas was the calmest, most private part of our trip, and Adonis Hotel ended up being our favourite place to stay. We loved our cozy room, the balcony facing the sea, and the garden outside. The beach is just down the street, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was fresh and tasty every day. Stamatis made our honeymoon feel special from the start. He helped with transport and travel tips, checked that we were happy with breakfast and our stay, and was lovely to spend time with on the porch in the evenings. His mother welcomed us with sugared lemons and water. We felt so relaxed here, and the hotel was clean and homely. We were reminded to write this after Stamatis sent us a New Year's greeting. It's easy to see why he has so many returning guests. You can also take day trips to places like Rotonda and Zeus cave. We had such a good time and hope to come back soon.

We felt looked after from the moment the owner and his mother welcomed us. The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of the port, and the photos online were a fair match for what we found. Breakfast and dinner were generous and tasty, and the stay was great value. I'd happily return to Adonis Hotel when we're next on Naxos.

We ran out of gas late at night after a string of bad luck and ended up in this little town searching for somewhere to stay. The owner kindly gave us a room at the posted rate, and even offered water and a snack. It was quiet, and the room was clean and comfortable. The next morning he helped us get back to Naxos, then checked in to make sure we'd arrived safely. We really appreciated his kindness. This hotel and town were a happy accident for us.

Stamatis was such a caring host. He arranged a private shuttle for us from the port of Naxos and even gave us a jar of homemade pickled lemons. The room was spotless and had modern bathroom facilities. Hotel Adonis in Apollona is a peaceful place to get away, and when we visited in early September 2025 it was especially quiet and relaxing. The beach is about a three-minute walk, with great cafés and restaurants there.

The gardens around this family-run hotel were full of flowers and vegetables, and the rooms were spacious, very clean, and had nice balconies. Breakfast was fantastic, with homemade jams too. Stamatis and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.
