The balcony was the big wow moment, with those incredible views over the bay. Inside, the place was spotless and had everything we needed. Four of us stayed for five nights, in a quiet part of Vathi just a short walk from the center. We didn't get to meet Melpo, but Nektarios welcomed us warmly and was really helpful with local tips. He even helped us find somewhere to relax on checkout day, when we had more than four hours before our ferry. We'll definitely stay here again when we return to Ithaka.

We spent five days here recently and would definitely recommend it. The host was friendly and always ready with helpful tips for exploring ithaca. Both bedrooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything, and the house was beautifully decorated. We also had a BBQ to use while taking in the amazing view. There's plenty of parking, and the central square is about a five-minute walk away.

Mrs. Melpomene is a fascinating person with a lot to say. The house has a well stocked library and a garage, and it's comfortable for two couples, with two bathrooms. The view is excellent.

We spent a week here and I'm sure we'll come back. The terrace is lovely for meals, with a BBQ and a view over the harbor. It's a great spot in Vathy, close to everything while still away from the noise. And make sure you feed the cat!
