Antonios House Ithaka

We had such a great time!

The veranda and barbecue area were a highlight, with wide views across Vathi from both. We also appreciated the garage door and two fenced private parking spaces, especially with the traffic on the road outside. The location made getting around South Ithaca easy: Sarakiniko and Filiatro are about five minutes away, and another road skirts Vathi toward Loutsa, Minimata and Skinos, with the path to Gidaki starting there too. It meant we could reach the beaches without dealing with summer traffic in town. Inside, the apartment was spotless, spacious and fully equipped. There are three separate double bedrooms with quiet air conditioning, plus two bathrooms with steady hot water, so six people can get ready without waiting. The beds are roomy, and the soundproof window frames, screens and shading made it possible to sleep in. There’s also a washing machine and ironing board, as well as the planned linen and towel changes. The open living area has a kitchen with a walk-in closet, a six-seat dining table and a sofa. Appliances include a stove, oven, toaster, coffee maker and microwave, and the internet was fast and reliable. Antonios House is only 650 meters from the center of Vathi. The owner was always ready to answer questions and share information about the apartment and area. We had a comfortable, relaxing visit to Ithaca in early September, and were glad we chose this place. It works well for families or larger groups, and we’d happily recommend it.

The balcony has a lovely view, and the accommodation is really practical, especially for families. Very nice place. I’d definitely recommend it.
