The balcony views of the mountains, sea, sunsets and surrounding town were remarkable, and the hotel grounds are beautiful. Our room, bathroom and balcony were clean, cozy, spacious and well kept. With a rental car, we could explore the Mani peninsula. Limeni and Oitylo are a short drive away, and we loved the water there. Downtown Areopoli is close enough to walk to, so we went back and forth for dinner each night. We didn’t want to leave after three nights and hope to return. Maria, Eleftheria and the rest of the Armantanis staff made us feel at home with their caring, professional service. Eleftheria showed us to our room, made sure we knew how to use the hot tub and had what we needed, then brought us delicious coffees and ice cream bars. Maria was enthusiastic and outgoing, and made the stay especially memorable. Highly recommend!

Maria, her mother and her aunt were such lovely hosts, and so welcoming with our baby. The breakfast was great, and their recommendations were really helpful. We had an amazing time at Armantanis and will definitely come back!

A quiet spot in the mountains, great if you’re after nature rather than a beach location. The room had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and full of good recommendations. The homemade food was fresh and absolutely delicious. It’s a five-minute drive to the main town and 15 minutes to Limeni, a picturesque seaside village that’s well worth a visit. For a morning jog or walk, there’s a nearby monastery 700m up, about 10 minutes away, with amazing views and a great sunrise spot. Highly recommend for peace, mountains and warm hospitality!

The family and hotel staff were so kind and helpful, sharing tips for exploring the Mani Peninsula and lending us a chair, towels and an umbrella for the beach. Our spacious room was lovely, and the hotel was beautiful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing, with different choices every day, all delicious. We ate with a view of the ocean and birdsong each morning. We loved our stay at Armantanis so much.

Armantanis Luxury Suites is just a two-minute drive or an easy 12-minute walk from Areopolis. We liked having the town close by while still staying somewhere peaceful. The suites were spacious, nicely designed and spotless. Maria and Kanela looked after every detail and kept the property immaculate. Over our seven-day stay, they changed our towels and even the complimentary slippers three times. The breakfasts prepared by Eleftheria were a daily highlight, with a generous spread of regional specialties, fresh pastries and savory Maniot treats that showed off the area’s food traditions. Maria and her mother, Kanela, welcomed us warmly and made us feel like family. Their care, along with Eleftheria’s cooking, made the stay more than we expected. We can’t wait to return to Armantanis Luxury Suites. Thank you, Maria, for everything and for the Mani delicacies you prepared for us to take home.
