We spent a week at Bassa Maina as a family of 17 and loved every minute. The views were stunning, the food was excellent and the service was the best we could have asked for. Panos and another waiter/bartender did a wonderful job making sure everything was right. It’s close to Areopoli and Limeni, and a great base for exploring Mani. The Wi-Fi was unstable, and the TVs only had local channels, which were small downsides. Otherwise, it was simply perfect, five-star level.

The views are unbeatable, and both the rooms and their decor were lovely and clean. The food and service were excellent the whole time we were there. We’ve already made plans to bring the whole family back. Truly an amazing place!

The views from the rooms and all around the resort were phenomenal, and the villas were spacious and very well equipped. We stayed in late May, when it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The service was kind and great, and I’ve never stayed anywhere in Greece that was so clean. One thing kept this from being a five-star stay: the jacuzzi was dirty, and it still wasn’t cleaned properly after we told the manager.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and it’s become our go-to place to relax. The surroundings are breathtaking, with views that make it easy to let go of everyday stress. It’s peaceful and quiet, just right for recharging. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year and keeping this tradition going. We couldn’t recommend this hidden gem more.

The hotel staff were lovely, and the location is spectacular. My husband and I found the hotel beautiful, and the care they put into small details really stood out. I have celiac disease, and they were very accommodating, with gluten-free bread and sweets every morning. It was a wonderfully relaxing stay, and I highly recommend it.
