The main things I’d change are the tiny TVs in the rooms and the breakfast choices. The English breakfast was cooked well, but I’d rather have had more traditional Greek food. Trying local cuisine is part of a holiday in Greece, and I can have an English breakfast any day back in the UK. Even so, Windmill Hotel has a nice atmosphere and good value. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I had a pleasant stay.

Getting around the island takes some planning, a car or bike is necessary if you want to see the beautiful places. The hotel sits between Zante town, the seaside resorts and lots of beaches. Back at the hotel, the service was outstanding and always came with a smile. Our sea-view balcony was large, and the room and pool were consistently clean. The pool bar had a good range of snacks and great food. Breakfast was outstanding too, with fantastic options for everyone and outdoor seating in the morning.

The receptionist was really nice, and breakfast was generous. We had a large, clean room with a big balcony and a direct view of the sea. You can walk to the high street, while the hotel stays quiet at night.

We spent 10 days at Windmill Hotel and loved our stay. It’s on the edge of Argassi, handy for the town and its tavernas, but away from the noise. The staff were very friendly, the pool area was nice, and there’s a bar with excellent food. The rooms are standard Greek style, but the beds are comfy. Highly recommended.
