The saltwater pool and the hotel's position, with its great views, were lovely. Our room was the problem. Rooms 208, 209, and 210 all seem to lack privacy, and might be better used for storage. From our tiny balcony I could look straight into the next room and see a man lying on the bed. The neighbors on both sides seemed embarrassed too. We kept the curtains shut, which left an already dark room even darker. I had asked about changing rooms when I booked and requested one as soon as we arrived, but was told none were available. We stayed six nights, and the lack of privacy made the stay much less enjoyable. There was also nighttime noise from guests scraping chairs around, and the walls are very thin.

The rooms on the second floor sit right below the main breakfast terrace, so chairs scraping overhead can be noisy, sometimes even late at night when guests stay up playing cards. I'd avoid those rooms. The hotel has a nice pool, though the sea below is the real draw: private steps lead into clear, deep water, provided the waves aren't big. The staff are genuinely polite and helpful, and the location and views are great. One of the island's best hotels.

The town is an easy walk away, and getting to the beach isn't too difficult either. The view is wonderful, the pool and sea access are great, and breakfast was outstanding.

IYKYK. The hotel is right in the center, a good place to unwind and leave your worries behind. Thermos was a nice stop, but take the longer route to get here. The steep, narrow switchbacks come with so many near misses that you might need a break.

The staff were the highlight for me, so kind and warm they felt like family. I spent an incredible week at Erofili, with comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts, and stunning views. Can't wait to come back, highly recommend it.
