I haven't stayed at the hotel, so I can't comment on that, but the restaurant was really good, the best meal we had during our time in Sifnos. The food was traditional, very tasty, and served in large portions. The potatoes salad and milk veal are must tries. The owner was a really nice host too, so you won't regret spending an evening there.

The downstairs restaurant was a real highlight for us. The owner and family cook Greek dishes there, and we had some of our best meals on Sifnos. Our room was plain but very clean and looked after, which was all we needed. The hotel itself is quiet, and Artemonas centre is an easy walk away. From there, we enjoyed the path through the white island houses down to Apolonia, or could take the bus to other parts of the island. The owner was friendly and funny, so we felt at home right away. A comfortable, peaceful base with lovely hospitality.

We found it easy to explore Sifnos from here, with the center of Apollonia just a short walk away. Even so, the hotel felt peaceful. The family running the place were kind and welcoming, always ready to help if we needed anything. Our room was comfortable and clean, with little details that showed the care they put into the hotel. From the moment we arrived, their warmth made us feel at home. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Artemon and would happily recommend it.

A useful starting point for several of the island's trekking trails, and Apollonia is only about a 10-minute walk away for food and shopping. Artemon Hotel is a small, family-run place with 25 rooms, right at the entrance to Artemonas. The facilities are basic, but we were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the price felt like excellent value. The owner was very friendly too.
