The flat is seriously huge, and the breakfast was brilliant. It’s served at the restaurant right across from the apartment, with five choices. There was plenty of delicious food, and the coffee was genuinely good. We had some trouble getting inside, but the restaurant staff were helpful and got us in. The place could use renovation. The toilet sink is dated, paint is peeling badly in several spots, and the old AC units gave some heat but smelled a little stale. The shower had four different handles and switches, and we never figured it out during our three days. For hot water, you have to press a button and wait 10-20 minutes. There still wasn’t enough for three people to shower in a row, so you need to press it again. It’s a decent option for the right group, especially six or seven guys looking to stay together and have fun. I wouldn’t recommend it for girls, as it lacks the comfort and upkeep they might expect.

The room was cheap-looking and unclean, with cockroaches inside and bed bugs in the bed. The towels were dirty and frayed, and the quality of the sheets and towels was shocking. For what we paid, it wasn’t worth it at all. The location in Monastiraki felt unsafe and was difficult to find, and the photos on booking.com were deceptive.

Breakfast across the street at Brunchery was delicious and really convenient, and the owners communicated well and helped arrange airport car service both ways. The apartment was huge, with two spacious bedrooms, just steps from Monastiraki Square and about four minutes from Psiri. The hot water took a little figuring out, but it wasn’t a major problem.

We really enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. The staff were quick to respond and accommodating, and the place itself was comfortable, well equipped and very spacious. The location was great for exploring Athens.

There’s a café downstairs for breakfast and lunch. The menu isn’t big, but everything we tried was excellent. Our room felt more like a spacious apartment, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s also a small rooftop patio with a nice view of the Acropolis. The place is cozy, and the location is excellent, within walking distance of the train station and a popular square. If you’re staying in Athens, this is the area to be. You won’t be disappointed.
