Christo & Julia welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away. They shared tips about the village and always made us smile. The location is perfect, the view is stunning, and the rooms are clean and lovely. The shower is a bit small, but for the price it was an amazing experience.

Our balcony looked over Assos marina, with stunning views that a postcard can't really capture. It's an excellent little studio, and I highly recommend it.

The downsides were dated rooms, limited street parking, a plastic rather than metal water boiler, and a shower that was far too small. There's a large free outdoor parking area about five minutes away. On the plus side, the local couple hosting were friendly, beds were comfortable, and the village views were good. The beach and village are a few minutes away on foot, up and down stairs. There was also a laundry drying rack, an outdoor patio, and affordable prices.

We couldn't get enough of the view from either apartment. Ours was on the first floor, while our friends had the ground-floor one with a terrace. Both places were modern, bright, and airy. The lane is very quiet, so you can sit out even on the smaller terrace, and parking is right outside. The beach and village centre are about a five-minute walk up steps and an incline, so it may not suit anyone with limited mobility. The hosts were lovely, friendly, and accommodating, and left little treats, coffee, tea, and water in the fridge. Highly recommend.

The room was plenty big enough, and Christos was such a kind, welcoming host who helped with everything we needed. We loved staying at Romanza. Sitting on the balcony for hours, looking out over the bay, is easy when the village views are probably among the best around. We'd definitely come back.
