The nearby bar kept playing loud music until 4 am, which really spoiled the stay. I booked through a travel agent after seeing an online photo that supposedly showed the Parthenon from the window, but the reality was nothing like that. I’m usually positive, but this was disappointing.

There was nowhere to put anything, hang towels, or even leave a toothbrush, since the tiny room had no shelves or hangers. It felt claustrophobic for the price, and cleanliness was only a 6/10. The internet kept cutting out and was slow, mosquitoes kept us up at night, and without a headboard the bed wasn’t comfortable for relaxing. Amenities were sparse. Do better.

Getting into the hotel is fully automated, with codes sent ahead for both the entrance and the room. The room was clean, the bed was good, and the shower was decent. It’s close to central Athens, with bars, restaurants, and bakeries nearby. Outside noise wasn’t an issue, though we could hear other guests on the stairs. Good quality for the price.

The bathroom was extremely cramped, just half a meter by half a meter, and the toilet and shower shared that same space. There’s no elevator, and the staircase is dark and spiral. No room service either. When we asked, we were told it came every two days.
