We booked through booking.com and never gave the property our card details, yet two months after the holiday they began making unauthorized charges. They said the booking site had sent our reservation to another company, and now they're charging us the difference in what they claim it should have cost instead of sorting it out with booking.com or that company. Completely unacceptable and untrustworthy.

I loved the interior, and the room smelled so nice and was really clean. The woman who welcomed us was warm and friendly. Such a lovely place, much better than the nearby hotel where we stayed before. Highly recommend!

We had a confirmed booking through a popular third-party site, but when we arrived around 6:30 pm, nobody was there to check us in. Agora Athens Suites hadn't sent instructions for self check-in. We called the emergency number posted on the door and left messages, but got no answer. We had to find another nearby hotel at the last minute, then spent hours trying to get a refund, which we did receive. The whole thing wasted a lot of time and caused plenty of frustration, and it cut into our last evening in Athens. We can't recommend this hotel.

I waited for hours, all the way until midnight, but still couldn't get inside. I'd booked a room, but they never sent the entry code, wouldn't answer the phone, and didn't respond to my emails. I don't know whether I'll get my money back. It was a terrible experience and a waste of money. I don't even want to give this place one star.
