The location made it easy to see everything on foot. Monastraki metro station and Square are about 150-200 meters away, Syntagma Square and Plaka are roughly 600 meters, and the Acropolis is a short walk beyond Plaka. There’s everything you might need nearby. From the airport, taking the metro to Monastraki and walking to the hotel is faster and much cheaper than Uber or a taxi. Buses also run very frequently and cost about 7 euros. We booked a room with a balcony, but its door was stuck shut. It was a minor issue and we didn’t mention it to staff, though it was the one thing I’d complain about. The hotel is older but updated, and the soundproofing isn’t great. That wasn’t a problem for us: the noise stopped around 12-12:30 each night, and we were usually out until then anyway. There’s no bar or restaurant in the hotel, so you’ll have to eat and drink in the neighborhood, which is hardly a hardship. The rooms were comfortable, stylish, and suited our needs. We arrived quite early, but the staff got us into our room about three hours before check-in. I can’t promise that will always happen, but they seemed happy to help when the room was ready and space allowed. For the price and location, this is a wonderful hotel.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the location was perfect. It’s on the main street, so it gets a bit noisy at night. I’d love to come back.

The accommodation was good, clean, and close to tourist sights and markets. The elegant receptionist made the place even lovelier. Thank you for your smile and kindness, and thanks to the cleaning lady too. You deserve the best.

The warm, comfortable atmosphere made breakfast a lovely way to start the day. There was a generous choice of eggs, along with delicious traditional dishes and bakery items. The menu really had something for everyone.
