Stay away if you want peace of mind. The owner threatened us, saying we had to give 5 stars on booking before we could get clean towels and sheets and stay decently. The place may have been renovated, but it was filthy, dusty, and the sheets had hair all over them. It seemed to get cleaned about once a month, not after each guest.
This was the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen, and I wouldn’t consider it suitable for a family. The sheets had hair and blood from mosquitoes that had been killed; the pillows were dirty and hairy, and the duvets were stuffed in a closet without covers, already yellow. There was dust and dirt throughout. When we raised the cleaning issue, the owner argued and seemed interested in collecting money, not making the house ready for guests. He told us that for 600 euros for 3 nights we wouldn’t find anywhere else, and that this was just how the house was, since it wasn’t a hotel that needed constant cleaning. Honestly, maybe a zoo would be a better place to go.
Seven of us stayed here and had lots of room. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a lovely terrace and professional service. It’s also close to the metro and the city center.
