I stayed with four friends while one of them was rubbing the marathon in November. The location was perfect and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was basic, but enough to get you going. I'd definitely recommend it for a group visit.

The central location can feel overwhelming, since Athens is busy and this part of town is especially intense. Breakfast was decent, but it's served on a covered patio outdoors, rain or shine, so keep the season in mind. October was comfortable when we visited. The rooms are very small and bare bones, although they do have a mini fridge, decent AC, and a small smart TV. The elevator is so tiny you may as well take the stairs. Calling it a four-star hotel feels misleading. To me it's closer to a hostel with an upgrade, or maybe a three-star place at a stretch.

The rooms are spacious, which was the only thing I liked. For the price, the stay was extremely disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable, and the shower had barely any pressure, possibly because it was clogged, and took ages to heat up. Breakfast was the worst part: poor quality, and a disgusting coffee machine. The location is the one real advantage.

Being able to leave our bags after checkout was handy, and the spot is excellent, right beside the Acropolis Museum and within easy walking distance of the main sights. But the room was very small and didn't look as good as the online photos, which made the place seem much nicer than it was. There was a power outage across parts of Athens when we arrived because of the heat. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but they had no generator, so the whole building was dark and extremely hot without air conditioning. That made the stay uncomfortable. Staff began knocking to clean at 10:30 am even though checkout was at 11:00 am, which felt rushed. We didn't try breakfast because it was only served from 8:00 to 10:00 am, a pretty inflexible window, and during the outage there wasn't much to enjoy anyway. They offered no gesture or compensation, though we understand the blackout wasn't their fault. Great location, but the room and experience fell short of what the photos had led us to expect.
