A couple of blocks from Monastiraki Square, this is a very nice place to stay if you want an economical option. It isn't a luxury hotel, and there are a few worn spots along the bathroom walls, but my room was clean, comfortable, and everything worked. The staff handled a check-in mix-up well. I was given a room that was already occupied, but they quickly found me an empty one. A little later, they knocked and brought a small apology gift. I don't lower a rating for a mistake when the business makes an effort to put it right, and I appreciated that. The welcome loukoumi (“Greek Delight”) at reception and slippers in the room were small touches that made the place feel homey. The rooftop bar is a real highlight. You can see the citadel and Mount Lycabettus, which is often blocked by buildings around the Acropolis. The setting is simple and cozy, and the drinks cost less than at rooftop bars closer to the Acropolis, sometimes half as much for some items. It's a good place to hang out whether you're a guest or not. If you sit outside in colder months, bring warm clothes since there are no heaters. The hotel is a couple of blocks farther from the Acropolis than the fancier options, but the view is still clear.

We arrived late, but Athens was still lively, and reception is open around the clock. The location is ideal, with the Acropolis nearby and lots of restaurants and pubs around. Our room was quite large, had all the amenities, and the balcony gave us a lovely Acropolis view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a decent spread, though I wish there had been chicken options.

We were on the second floor, looking out over the courtyard, and it was quiet. The room had been renovated, with simple but nice furniture, comfortable lighting, a good shower, and air conditioning that worked well without much noise. Slippers and two free bottles of water were provided. The metro is only a few minutes away, with a direct route to the airport, and you can walk to everything. Breakfast was a good start to the day, though the choice wasn't broad: scrambled or boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, pastries, muesli, fruit, coffee, and several kinds of tea. A few things were missing: there were no shelves in the closet, the body soap and shampoo came in the same tube, and there was no body cream.

We had a really pleasant stay. The hotel is in a great central spot, yet it was very quiet despite being on a main avenue. The terrace gives an even clearer Acropolis view than the nice side view from our balcony, and it's a lovely place for breakfast or a drink at the rooftop bar. The room was comfortable and very clean, and check-in was quick and smooth. Every staff member we met was kind, friendly, and attentive. The interior may not be especially modern, but that felt like a minor detail. Thank you!

The staff were very helpful, and there was a full breakfast menu plus a nice rooftop bar. The building is a little old, but the bathroom, flooring, furniture, and AC had been renovated where it mattered. You're right near Monastiraki, in the middle of everything, with a metro connection to the airport. Thank you.
