Akis was responsive whenever we had a question, from booking right through the end of our stay. Although it’s an apartment rather than a hotel, we even got fresh towels and a complimentary cleaning halfway through the week, which we appreciated. The place itself is lovely, roomy, and clean, with tourist sights and restaurants an easy walk away. Blue Ark Acropolis Light is in a great spot, and I’d stay there again on my next Athens visit.

We had a great stay, and the apartment is handy for many tourist spots. The owner let us leave our luggage at the main office, then met us when we got to the flat and showed us around, including the washing machine and how to get hot water for baths. A few bedroom door knobs had problems, either coming off or turning without working the latch. The owner responded quickly when we mentioned it, but we said we could manage until we left and they could fix them afterward.

The apartment was bigger than we expected, and staying there felt like a five-star hotel, just a short walk from the Acropolis. Akis really went out of his way for us. The beds were made up beautifully, there were plenty of towels, and the air conditioning worked well. He also provided food and a large TV with Netflix in five languages. We couldn’t recommend the place or the service more. Thanks, Aki, we’ll be back!
