We found the hotel easily by following the website’s directions from Athens airport, after booking it on Expedia. We paid a little over £200 for three nights, breakfast included. Kostas greeted us and gave us lots of information about places to eat and the city sightseeing bus. Everyone was friendly, especially the young man at breakfast. The staff welcomed us whenever we returned and wished us a good day or evening when we headed out. Our room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and pillows, a proper hairdryer rather than one of those useless built-in hotel ones, and a spacious riser shower. Breakfast was excellent, too: cooked options similar to an English breakfast, warm pastries, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, and meat. The hotel is clean, well presented, and handy for the main sights. I understand what other reviewers mean about the surrounding area, but it didn’t put us off. We always felt safe walking there at night. Syntagma Square is an easy 15-20 minute walk, with the Acropolis and Plaka another 5-10 minutes beyond it. Panepistimio metro station is about a five-minute walk away. We’d definitely stay again if we return to Athens. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay!

Before we arrived, the staff messaged us with recommendations and, when we asked, booked a dinner reservation for our first night. The restaurant they suggested was excellent and gave our vacation a perfect start. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make things easy and comfortable. The hotel’s design is beautiful and full of fun decor, and our clean room had lots of amenities. The breakfast buffet was fresh and lovely every day. I’d read that Omonoia could be a bit shifty and was initially worried about the neighborhood, but we felt safe the whole time. The area around the hotel is lovely, with lots of cute cafés, bars, and restaurants. The sights are walkable, and the metro is close for anything farther away. I’m so glad we chose this hotel and would stay again if I come back to Athens. Thank you for making the trip so lovely.

The hotel’s green effort means you get a free bar drink if you’re okay with skipping room cleaning for one day. And what can I say about the stay except bomba! It’s a very nice place in central Athens, in the university neighborhood, suited to either business or a holiday. The rooms are comfortable, and the service was amazing. Stefanos, Maria, and Kostas welcomed us right away, were friendly and available, and did their best to make our stay great. I also recommend the very good breakfast, including delicious tiropites, kindly prepared by Sofia and Dimitris.

We were a family with two kids, and can only recommend this hotel. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed, and the hotel is beautifully decorated. Everyone was wonderfully kind and supportive, from housekeeping to reception. Biorka, we loved you!

What made our stay special was the staff. Kostas, Maria, Stefanos, Sophia, and Dimitris were welcoming, kind, professional, and always happy to help. Everything was very clean and well kept, and the location is convenient and close to everything. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully designed, with lovely attention to detail. We had a wonderful stay, would definitely return, and highly recommend the hotel.
