I’ve been meaning to write this for a while because it mattered to me to share how much we enjoyed our three stays at Vangelisa Apartments. We tried three different apartments, and every one was exceptional. My favorite is Dreamy Athens Penthouse With Acropolis View. It’s spacious and airy, with a breathtaking Acropolis view, and it’s well equipped with an oven and an extra sofa. Next is Dreamy Athens Terrace With Acropolis View, which may have the best possible view of the Acropolis. The view is spectacular, though the apartment is much smaller than my first choice. It’s still got everything you need, and it’s so beautiful I could imagine living there. Third is Dreamy Athens Loft. There’s no Acropolis view, but it looks out over a lovely church and the city. It’s not large, but it’s cozy and functional, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Most recently, our family came to Athens for my niece’s wedding, and we rented three apartments at once. I sincerely recommend doing that, it worked perfectly. I do have a concern about the taxi company the property recommended. We’d had no problems before, but our recent experiences were very negative. On the airport transfer, there were seven people in one car, and the driver scraped another vehicle, knocked off its mirror, and didn’t even stop. We booked the same company for the return from the wedding, and on September 20th the driver dropped us in the city center and told us to walk to the apartment at 1:45 a.m. There were seven of us, aged 20 to 75. It was a terrible experience and a huge trauma for everyone. That’s not what you expect when you order a taxi. I sincerely don’t recommend this company.

The host was super friendly, reliable, and helpful, and the house had everything we needed for a perfect Athens holiday. We loved the terrace, especially getting a tan with the Acropolis in view. I really enjoyed staying here with my girlfriend. It was comfortable, and every point of interest we wanted to visit was within a 20 minute walk. Highly recommend.

We spent seven days in the Penthouse and couldn’t have been happier. It was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the Acropolis view was wonderful, even from bed. Seeing it lit up at night was especially great. This felt much more comfortable than a traditional hotel, and the stay was money well spent. Thank you Vangelis for making such a relaxing space in a busy city. The location mattered a lot to us because we could walk everywhere we wanted, including the Acropolis. There were so many dining choices it was overwhelming. Our favorites were "Feyrouz" for a simple sit down meal, plus "Tis theatrou to steki" and "Tavern Klimataria". All three are local, very good, and off the main tourist streets, less than 10 minutes away on foot. We pack light, so laundry was a must. The washing maching right beside the elevator outside our Penthouse door was fantastic, and we took the washed clothes to "easywash self service laundry" two minutes away to dry. George picked us up and dropped us at the airport, and he’s a wealth of information about Athens. There’s a "Masoutis" supermarket five minutes away for most things you might need apart from a pharmacy.

Vangelis is the best host. He was so helpful with valuable information about Athens and replied incredibly quickly. The apartment was gorgeous, super clean, and modern, with an incredible Acropolis view. The location is perfect, with everything walkable. I highly recommend it for a fantastic Athens stay. A breathtaking view of the Acropolis, especially at night, is the standout here. The apartments are brand new and have great facilities, and the host is very friendly and helpful. It’s excellent value for money, in a great spot next to all the sights, with loads of restaurants and bars and mass transportation right at the doorstep.
