Electra Metropolis Athens

We usually come here when we’re in Athens during winter, and it’s one of our favorites. The hotel is very central, right in the middle of everything. Staff are fantastic and exceptionally professional, and nothing feels like too much to ask. Food and drinks are good quality, and breakfast is generous and plentiful. The hotel is super clean. Rooms are on the small side, though that seems common throughout Athens. It’s a small place, more of a city or business hotel. The gym is small but enough to keep up your fitness for a few days.

The view from my balcony was amazing, day and night, and worth the bill on its own. Housekeeping was quick and spotless, and even left me complimentary small bites on my third day. Breakfast had an exceptional spread, and there are loads of food options within a five to ten minute walk. The hotel sits right in the middle of the city center and Syntagma Square, making the Acropolis, National Archaeological Museum, Temple of Zeus, Agora, and Plaka all walkable. I have nothing bad to say. The team made my stay welcoming and comfortable, and I highly recommend Electra Metropolis to anyone visiting Athens.

The service from Mr. Angelos Koulouris and Ms. Marianthi deserves special thanks for their professionalism. We were warmly welcomed by the reception team, and all the hotel staff were friendly, attentive, and very professional. The 10th-floor restaurant was excellent for breakfast and fine dining, with delicious food, great service, and breathtaking Acropolis views. The ground-floor restaurant was also excellent for taste and service. The hotel was spotless throughout, including our well-maintained guest room. Its central location was perfect, yet it stayed quiet and away from street noise. The spa, massage services, and gym were excellent, well kept, and relaxing.

I stay in a lot of hotels, and this one really stands out. Staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. I mentioned a preference casually in a survey, and when I got back to my room an hour later, they’d taken care of it. That kind of attention is rare these days. The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was wonderful. The restaurant is superb, with views of the Acropolis that can’t be beaten.
