Ethereal Athens

I appreciated how the staff looked after me even after checkout, keeping my luggage until it was time to board my cruise. They were warm and friendly throughout, and the whole stay felt easy. Ethereal Hotel is a calm spot in the middle of Athens. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the city, and this one was surprisingly quiet despite how lively the area is. My room had lots of space, was spotless, and had everything I needed, including plenty of towels and the essentials. It’s also handy for good food, shopping, and attractions. The team’s communication was already excellent from the time I booked. They answered all my questions quickly and kept an eye on my arrival to make sure I had what I needed. I’d choose Ethereal Hotel again if I come back to Athens, and would recommend it.

Room 502 looked just like the photos. We stayed two nights, and the location was the best part, right in the middle of things and close to everything. The room, towels, and bedding were clean, it was cleaned daily, and the included snacks and shower gel and shampoo were a nice touch. The room felt sealed up and a bit underground even though it was on the fifth floor, and we found it hard to breathe. The air conditioning worked well but made us feel unwell, so we left the small window open most of the time. I’d suggest paying a little extra for a room with a balcony.

We tried to add more nights, but the place was fully booked, which says a lot. The staff were very communicative and the service was excellent. Although the area is lively and right in Athens’ shopping district, the rooms feel private and quiet. Most sights are an easy walk away. We’ll definitely come back.

We had to cancel our Ethereal Athens booking at the last minute because of the security situation. The team could have kept our money under their policy, but they immediately approved a full refund. Their compassion and understanding meant a lot during a stressful time. We’re grateful and hope to rebook our holiday with them as soon as we can. I recommend them for the kindness they showed, as well as for a stay.
