Four Streets Athens

The host made sure we had everything we needed and was warm, helpful, and quick to respond. We loved the spacious, tastefully furnished apartment and its breathtaking city view. It’s right in the heart of Athens, close to everything, yet quiet and relaxing. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

The Acropolis view was great, and the apartment was surprisingly quiet once the doors were shut. You wouldn't know you were in the middle of downtown. The A/C worked really well, too. We were only about a five-minute walk from anything we wanted to do, with three grocery stores within 50m. The host was fantastic and made sure we had no problems. Such a good location made Athens a really fun trip, and I've never stayed in a more fun apartment.

Vasileios, the operations manager, met us on our first day and stayed responsive when we had questions. The building's small elevator made it easy to bring up our luggage. We stayed three nights in the Apeliotis 2 Bedroom Suite of Four Streets Apartments, in the lovely Plaka neighborhood, a short distance from Monastiraki Square. The living room window looks out at the Acropolis, and the updated apartment gets plenty of natural light. There are three bathrooms. The main-level bedroom has an ensuite with a double sink and shower, while the second bedroom is up in the loft overlooking the living room, with its own bathroom and a privacy curtain. The beds were comfortable, and the place came well equipped, including kitchen amenities, a hair dryer with diffuser attachment, a makeup mirror, an umbrella, and more. We brought electrical adapters from the U.S. For four-star accommodations in a central part of Athens, I'd highly recommend it.

Vasileios was personally helpful from before we arrived right through to our departure. He arranged our airport ride, walked us to a rooftop cafe after we got in, and helped us sort out an unexpected problem by connecting us with a professional colleague. We appreciated that kind of personal effort, especially when many apartment managers just communicate through WhatsApp and lockboxes. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with standard appliances, a washer and dryer, and a third bathroom that felt like a real luxury. My wife loved the beds and slept well despite her history of back pain. It sits between Syntagma and Monastiraki Squares, with restaurants, groceries, and shops close by. Street noise was muffled surprisingly well, and there was a convenient room to leave our luggage before check-in and after checkout.
