Trendy Hotel by Athens Prime Hotels

Food options are just around the corner, and the metro is only about five minutes away. You can walk to the Acropolis in roughly half an hour. The hotel itself is cozy and spotless, with really helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast is fresh and has a decent range of choices. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

There are plenty of places nearby for dinner or coffee, plus a couple of supermarkets. Syntagma Square and Parliament are an easy walk of around 15 minutes, and the Acropolis takes another 15-20. It’s not right in the middle of everything, which shows in the price, and I had no trouble with the area, though it might feel less ideal late at night. The room is lovely for one person, a little cramped for two, but the big balcony helps a lot. Breakfast was fine for getting started. The staff were kind and did their best to help with early check-in. I left my bags and went exploring; they offered to call when the room was ready, but I didn’t need that.

The birthday surprise was such a lovely part of our three-night stay. After a full day out, we came back to balloons, a thoughtful card, and a bottle of wine in the room. The housekeeping team had apparently spotted my cards and gifts by the bed. It was unexpected and made my birthday feel special. The hotel was also an easy base for seeing Athens, with the main sights within walking distance. Each morning there was a complimentary continental breakfast with fresh, tasty options. Our room was roomy, modern, and very clean, bathroom included, and had a fridge and air conditioning that came in handy in the heat. From reception to housekeeping, the staff were attentive, polite, and genuinely welcoming. We were impressed from the moment we arrived. If I’m back in Athens, I’d stay at Trendy by Athens Prime Hotel again and would recommend it.
