From the street you can’t really grasp how large this place is. It spans four floors in central Athens, and there’s plenty to explore once you’re inside. It has A/C, a TV, WiFi, balconies, a back door onto the streets, and a front door onto the main road. You get views over much of the city, including a breathtaking look at the Acropolis. The managing company also suggested lots of shops and restaurants. I’m not usually an Airbnb person, but this one was special.

Everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance, and the apartments were in a peaceful spot right on the Acropolis sidewalk, away from the busy streets outside. We were five minutes from a great breakfast place and street vendors, and 10-15 minutes from Monastraski Square. Our group of 10 had everything we needed, and the host was amazing and accommodating. We could contact them on WhatsApp for help or recommendations, including where to find delicious Loukamades. ALA helped make our Athens stay absolutely amazing. The property was beautiful, and the apartments were modern, clean, spacious, and just like the online photos. There are four floors. The top-floor bedroom has an outdoor deck overlooking Athens, as well as a patio on the Acropolis side with a hot tub. I only wish the patio seating had been clean and set up so we could sit with a glass of wine and admire the city. We paid 110€ for airport transportation for all 10 of us, and it was worth it. The airport is about 45 minutes away.

The apartment didn’t look like the photos, which seemed to have been taken years ago. We paid 798€ for three nights, a lot of money for a place that now needs painting. Two bedrooms and bathrooms smelled damp, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have asthma. The price was far too high for the condition. I told them I was very disappointed, but they didn’t reply. I think they don’t care.

The terrace has a great view of the Acropolis, and the apartment is in a very central spot for both the Acropolis and Plaka. The owner was friendly, and the apartment was nice.
