The location was ideal, around a 15-minute walk from the main sights and key meeting points. Our room was comfortable and met expectations, but the staff’s kindness stood out most. Vasiliki was especially friendly, offered great recommendations and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We were the young couple who stayed recently, and hope she remembers us. Thanks again for making such a difference to our trip. If we come back to Athens, we’ll stay here again.

The bathroom was too small, and water splashed out when we showered. The staff were nice and tried to find us a car during the strike, though in the end we still had to sort it out ourselves. The location was superb, close to syntagma square and convenient for walking to places like the market and Plaka.

Everything was within walking distance from this perfectly located hotel. The rooms were clean and well stocked, and the staff were kind and hospitable. At the front desk, they were especially helpful with reservations and recommendations for good experiences. We had a great stay in Athens.

I made my booking through Booking.com but couldn’t leave a review there for some reason, so I’m posting here. From the moment I arrived, the staff were wonderful and accommodating. The continental breakfast was delicious, and the location made it easy to reach the main attractions and points of interest. If I come back to Athens, I’ll stay here again. Thanks, Hermes Hotel!

The air conditioning didn’t work, but when we raised it at the front desk, we got a lecture about how to use it. They didn’t even try to inspect the unit. We were there in August, and housekeeping had left the balcony door open with the A/C switched off in the sweltering heat. The bathroom had mold, visible behind the sliding door, and the light fixtures were dusty. Breakfast was mediocre and not worth the price, especially with better options within walking distance. It’s an average hotel that needs updating.
