We only stayed two nights, and the hotel felt welcoming and clean enough for that. It’s simple, but the location is amazing and the included breakfast is good. One odd thing: you have to leave your keys at reception every time you go out. We had no problem with that and felt safe, though I’d never seen it before. I’d recommend staying here, it was good.

The location is amazing, with everything within walking distance, and we felt safe and welcome throughout our 6 days there. It’s a small, old hotel, and the rooms and facilities are a bit old too, but we loved it. Staff were very friendly and cleaned the room every day, which doesn’t happen everywhere. We also got a nice, simple breakfast. We highly recommend it!

The friendly, caring staff really stood out to me. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and memorable. My husband and I hope to return on our next Athens visit. The Hotel Nefeli is near all the attractions in atmospheric Plaka, including Tavernas, cafés, clothing and souvenir shops, and there’s an excellent supermarket next door. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage. Our booking included an amazing continental breakfast in the hotel dining area.

We asked for a quiet room and got to choose one. I picked a room facing an inner courtyard, so there was no outside noise. It was spacious, breakfast starting at 6.30 was fine, and the staff were super friendly and considerate. We had a great time, and for the price it’s great!

When I’m in Athens on my own, this is my favorite place to stay. It’s safe, close to everywhere, and has very friendly, helpful staff and a very good breakfast. Thank you, my friends at Nefeli. See you very soon.
