NOHO Boutique , premium living Dikeou 8

The neighborhood was lively and pleasant, with the Acropolis Hill, cafes, supermarkets, and other amenities nearby, as well as the undergraduate station. The room itself was a different story: it was dusty despite my request for a very clean place, and the towels and bed linen hadn’t been washed. That’s unacceptable for accommodation and could have serious health consequences. The Wi-Fi barely worked and the signal was very weak.

The view was spectacular, and both the patio and living area were amazing, but some things were just goofy. The upstairs unit’s shower was the strangest and worst I’ve used. It was basically a tub with a shower head, but nowhere to attach it to the wall, so you had to hold it the whole time. There wasn’t a frying pan for the cooking hot plate either, so we had to improvise.

There was no ventilation, and the place smelled really bad. The bed sheets had hair all over them, and the comforter was dirty. It’s also in the basement, which wasn’t mentioned in the description when I booked. The place looked different from the pictures, felt old, and needs an upgrade. I was very disappointed. I complained as soon as I arrived, but was told there were no other units available. I’ll think twice before using booking.com again.

I had a really nice, comfortable stay. The neighborhood was lively, central, and very cool. If I return to Athens, I’ll probably book here again :)
