Olympian Zeus Residences

The host made us feel welcome, and the place matched its description. I had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

Stayed for two nights a couple of days ago and really liked the apartment. It was simple, stylish, and, above all, clean. I recommend it.

The apartments we booked were tidy and clean, and check-in was simple. I could reach the host by phone, and the location was close to everything. One of my best Airbnb stays. Thanks for everything, guys, I’ll be back!

While we were out, our room at Olympian Zeus Hotel was broken into. Passports, laptops, and iPads were taken. There are no CCTV cameras or visible security measures, and we still don’t know how the intruders knew which room was ours or that we were away. The door had two locks: an auto-locking knob that can’t be opened from outside, and a deadbolt operated with a physical key. When we reported what happened, management was helpful in some ways, including helping us contact the police and file a report. They also suggested we might not have locked the door, which doesn’t make sense to us since neither lock can be opened from outside without a key. They let us stay an extra night without charge, which we appreciated. But when we explained we couldn’t check into another place without our original passports, they wouldn’t offer further help. Saying that this can happen in any city may be true, but it doesn’t address the lack of basic security that might have prevented it. We were travelling as a couple, and what should have been a simple trip became a serious ordeal, with emergency passport procedures and significant financial loss. I can’t recommend this hotel unless significant security measures are put in place at the hotel apartment.
