Oniro City

The reception staff were helpful, professional, and very sweet, and the hotel’s design gets top marks from me. It’s a fabulous little hotel in a great location, with a spacious, very clean room. I’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you, Oniro City.

We spent one night in a King Room with balcony. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and I slept well. I especially liked the shower and the Molton Brown bath products, and sitting out on the balcony was nice. We got a complimentary bottle of water in the room. The location was good for walking around town. Breakfast had a buffet, plus the option to order one item from the menu. I really enjoyed the protein pancakes, and the woman working in the breakfast area was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were dark, stuffy, and poorly ventilated, despite the hotel photos showing bright rooms with windows. We were two couples with two rooms, and neither had a real window. Staff insisted the tiny bathroom window looking onto a closed patio counted. When we asked to switch rooms, they refused, saying the hotel was full, and kept insisting the rooms had windows. Noise carried badly. We could hear people showering and even rustling plastic bags in other rooms as if they were right next to us. Wi-Fi worked for a few minutes on the first night, then stopped for all of us. Breakfast was very limited, and the main dish from the short menu was poor quality. The rooms were spotless and the staff friendly and polite, which we appreciated, but the stay fell far short of expectations and wasn’t worth the price.

We were able to get a room very early in the morning, and the staff were courteous and efficient. The breakfast yogurt was especially good. Rooms were large for a European hotel, and the balcony was a nice place to relax or dry clothes. The shower had hot water and a generous flow. The elevator is very slow and only holds three people, but it wasn’t a big deal since the stairs were convenient too.
