Perianth Hotel, a member of Design Hotels

We only spent one night at Perianth Hotel, but it was the best part of our whole three weeks in Europe. The staff were exceptional, and the modern room was spotless and comfortable. We could easily walk around the Plaka District, with lots of good restaurants and shops nearby, and the Acropolis was also within walking distance. The location was excellent. I'd highly recommend Perianth hotel and would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Athens.

The location was perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious. The amenities felt a little limited, and it seemed a bit expensive for what was offered. I stayed just one night, so none of this caused a major problem, but I wanted to pass along a few suggestions after the Perianth Hotel Team kindly replied. A bar of soap in the bathroom might help. The liquid soap dispenser was positioned where I'd expect a body wash container, which felt a little odd. The towels weren't dirty, but their color and appearance gave that impression, and I thought they could look cleaner and whiter. It wasn't a bad stay, just some feedback that might improve things. Thanks again, and I hope to stay there on my next trip to Athens.

Modern, clean, and centrally located near Plakos, the Acropolis, and the ancient agora. The design hotel branding works well. The gym is fine for a light workout, and you can smoke on the balcony. I'd highly recommend it if you enjoy the design hotel experience.

I didn't sleep well because the pillows were the worst, and I felt they would really strain your neck. The headboard is an attached velvet pillow that seemed dusty and gross. You can't change it like a pillowcase, and someone else's head had definitely been there. The room design also felt poorly thought out. There's no counter space or drawers in the bathroom for brushes or a blow dryer, and nowhere to hang clothes. Towels are kept in the closet, so after showering you're stuck if you forgot to bring one in.
