Plaka Apartment in Athens

We loved the neighbourhood, which felt safe and had lots of shops and restaurants nearby. There's a grocery store just around the corner. The apartment in Plaka was excellent for our group of four women, and everyone was comfortable. One bedroom seemed to have a queen bed, there were two twin beds in the other room, and I used the pull-out sofa bed. Every room had its own air conditioning with a remote. A staff member greeted us and helped carry luggage up the one flight of stairs, which we really appreciated. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other a half bath, so getting ready was easy. The kitchen was stocked with plates, pots and utensils, though we only used the stove to heat leftovers and there was no microwave. Tap water was drinkable, and the host had left a glass container of water in the fridge. It was nice to have a coffee maker with pods and tea bags, plus the cute balcony. Messaging the host was easy. I didn't arrange airport transport until our departure, but it cost less than the taxis we'd taken on the way there. I'd absolutely stay again.

It's worth knowing that the photos make the apartment look a little better than it is in person. The accommodation was clean, check-in was quick and easy, and the hosts were friendly and flexible. The location was good.

The hosts were impeccable, and the house helped make our stay great. It was very clean and within walking distance of the attractions. There were loads of amenities, including two bathrooms, four air conditioners, plenty of beds and closets, plus a washing machine and dishwasher.

A quiet, spacious and cozy apartment with everything you need. The owners were nice. Recommended.
