Rastoni Acropolis

My family of three would gladly return, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Athens. The staff were very responsive and friendly, and the rooftop terrace had an awesome view of the Parthenon. The apartment is fabulous for its reasonable price, with elegant decor, quality linen and tasteful furniture. It was ultra-modern and very clean, including the kitchen and appliances: induction cooktop, fridge, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine. There’s also a washing machine in the bathroom, plus a superb AC and heater unit. It’s a short walk to the Pathenon, in a nice neighborhood with restaurants nearby.

Right in the heart of the hip Koukaki neighborhood, this comfortable, stylish place is steps from the Acropolis and loads of great restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. The staff were friendly and let us leave our luggage before check-in and after checkout, which helped a lot. We’d recommend it and stay again.

We found a cockroach and a gecko in the room on our second night, even though we’d only had water there. Staff replied that the property is surrounded by nature and insects can appear, especially in summer. I quickly zipped up all my belongings. The room was large, spacious, and clean when we arrived, and close to the major sites. Our stay was short, which was fortunate. We were beside the main entrance, and the heavy metal door banged loudly whenever anyone came or went, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep.

The location was perfect for us: places of interest were within walking distance, public transport was close by, and the apartments were in a quiet spot. There’s a rooftop terrace with a fantastic city view. The bed was very comfortable, and fresh towels were provided every day. The apartments were newly renovated, tastefully decorated, and very clean, with all the necessary appliances and more, including a dishwasher, washing machine, iron, and Nespresso coffee machine. I’d highly recommend it and would definitely come back.
