We had trouble getting into the building because we booked through a third party and never got the entry instructions. I contacted the owner and got the details right away, along with tips about places to eat nearby. The residence was quiet, spacious, and clean. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, including coffee supplies, cleaning products, a washing machine, a drying rack, and other comforts. The location is handy for everything: the South Slope entrance to the Acropolis is 400m away, a 6 minute walk. The metro is 350m away, about 5 minutes on foot, and there’s an OK! Market 91m away, a 1 minute walk, for food and basics.

The only real drawbacks were street noise at night and noise in the corridors. Otherwise, the apartment was modern, very clean, and convenient. We stayed 4 days, around a 10 minute walk from the Acropolis and close to busy pedestrian streets lined with sit-down restaurants. Jenny, the manager, made the visit memorable. She was genuinely kind and went out of her way to help us feel comfortable. She even walked 15 minutes with us to show us a great restaurant, stayed in touch, and suggested interesting places to visit on our first trip to Athens. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend the place, especially to see Jenny again.

The entrance was very poorly lit and clearly needed maintenance. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and recommend the place. The apartments at 3 Rovertou Gali are clean, functional, and nicely presented, with one or two bedrooms and a small kitchen for making simple meals away from the crowds. The owners supplied basic bathroom and kitchen essentials, which we appreciated, and the washing machine was a real help since we were traveling light. The location is a winner, on a side street close to the Acropolis and town centre. Book through the owners for a better deal.

Really clean, and there was plenty for breakfast, including tea and coffee. The supermarket is across the road. Nikos was helpful from the time we booked through to departure, and arranged a taxi for our early morning leave because we didn’t want to risk Uber or anything like that. Great location, ideal for a stay in Athens.
