The kitchen was dirty, with an unclean sink and food that had expired the year before still in the fridge. The shower leaked all over the bathroom, and we couldn't get hot water for more than 1-2 minutes at a time, even though we followed the host's instructions exactly. He said it should run for 15 minutes before shutting off, but was uncooperative about checking it or helping. After long days out, not being able to take a hot shower made the stay miserable. We were there five nights, and the host wouldn't give us extra towels, so ours stayed damp the whole time. The apartment was cramped, and the bed was uncomfortable. There weren't enough bed pillows, so we had to use the "couch" pillows. The couch was a pallet with a cushion, and the "table" was a wooden pallet on the floor. The see-through curtains left the apartment bright all night, even with the wooden slats. Compared with other hostels and Airbnbs we booked on the same trip for the same price, this was a world of difference. The host kept insisting there could be no problem with his Airbnb and refused to look into the hot water or clean the kitchen. I've stayed at many Airbnbs, and this was the worst. Save your money and stay somewhere more comfortable.
