Sweet Home Hotel

That spot was the best part for us. The Acropolis, Ermou shops and lots of good restaurants are about a 10-minute walk away, and White Horse right outside is outstanding and fun for families. Our two adults and three kids fit comfortably in the penthouse. It was updated and clean with a quaint feel, and the kitchen staff were sweet. We also looked forward to the delicious breakfast each morning.

The team were wonderful throughout, always smiling and happy to arrange taxis or help with restaurant bookings. You can tell they care about the place. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with lovely character and modern comforts. We loved having a generous breakfast with fresh hot and cold choices each morning. The hotel is on a quiet street, though the sights, shops and restaurants are an easy walk away. From the moment we arrived, the warm service made us feel at home. It's a charming family-run boutique hotel, a real hidden gem in Athens. We'd love to return.

We used Sweet Home Hotel twice, at the beginning and end of our Greece trip. It's an easy base for Athens, close to everything but not in a noisy, busy spot. The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Everyone on the team was welcoming, generous with their time, and glad to help or have a chat. Sweet Home Hotel made our visit feel special, and we hope to come back.

Right in the center, yet once you're inside it's quiet, almost like a village. The rooms are roomy and cosy, with wide, comfortable beds, and everything is spotless. Every detail feels lovingly thought through. The staff are the kindest and most welcoming, and the whole place really does feel like home. Amazing place, amazing people.
