Vision Athens Apartments

We come to Athens every month as a group of friends from Bulgaria, and each stay here makes the trip feel perfect. The place is spotless and the staff are so polite. We all give Marieta two thumbs up, she’s the best of the best!

We loved the rooftop pool and the great view. The hotel has a stylish feel, with roomy rooms, balconies, a sofa, and a comfortable bed. It’s an exciting place to stay, especially for couples, and all the main city attractions are within walking distance.

Our room had no natural light at all, so we could basically choose between “day” and “night” lighting ourselves. Apart from that, it’s a lovely place in a very central spot, with spacious rooms and a great breakfast. The rooftop pool is lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time.

The hotel worked well for the places we wanted to see. We usually took taxis and walked the rest of the time. People warned us that the neighborhood was dodgy because of junkies and sex shops, but if you know London, it felt no different from some parts of there. Our room had a balcony and a double shower, though there weren’t enough towel racks and there was little bathroom space for toiletries. The picture above the bed stayed dusty even with daily cleaning. The bed was comfortable, especially after we got a duvet. I couldn’t use the entry system because I couldn’t hear its beeps, so my husband had to open it every time. We skipped the pool since it isn’t heated, though I imagine it’d be nice in peak summer. One other thing, you can’t put paper in the toilet here.
