Bali Beach and Sofia Village Hotel

The room view was amazing and the staff were friendly, but the hotel itself was a mess. Our curtains were moldy, the AC unit was filthy, and a terrible smell from the basement made the balcony unusable. They barely cleaned at all. We had to go to reception to ask for fresh towels, and even then we got just one large and one small one. The All Inclusive meals were the same every day. We were tired of it after three days and started eating at nearby restaurants. The drinks were awful too, the beer tasted like water. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The view of the sea and the relaxed feel made this a lovely place to unwind and enjoy Crete. We had room 818 at Bali Beach & Sofia Village from October 2 to October 9. The hotel was beautiful and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was always fresh and tasty. We'll definitely come back! 🌞🌴

The cats were the best part, and it was lovely to have a sea view while eating. The restaurant staff were wonderful, worked very hard for little reward, and some guests were rude to them. They deserve better pay. One person at reception was nice, but the bar staff weren't friendly. The hotel is built into a hill, so stairs are everywhere, including to the rooms, restaurant, reception and bars. The bar snacks were stale sandwiches. Even when we asked for small measures so we wouldn't get drunk too quickly, they still poured about 100 ml of neat alcohol. We left the room cleaner than we found it because we cleaned it ourselves.

We really enjoyed the food, especially since we love Greek dishes, and our room was spacious, perfectly clean, and had an incredible sea view. Maybe we just got lucky with the room, because I couldn't see what others were complaining about. Service and cleaning were good too. There are plenty of uneven steps, but snorkeling in the clear water was amazing. The all-inclusive drinks selection wasn't huge, though for what we paid for the holiday, we were happy.
