Christina and her family made us feel so welcome. It’s a very safe, family-friendly place, tucked away from the tourist crowds in a peaceful setting. The views are stunning, and the terrace is lined with tomato plants, olive trees, and grape vines. For a quiet beach stay surrounded by nature, this is a great spot to unwind. The skies are lovely at night, with very little light pollution, so make time to look at the stars.

The beach is just 50 metres from the building and is lovely for swimming. There’s also an excellent restaurant run by the same family right next door, perfect for dinner after a long beach day. Christina and her family provided excellent service. The rooms are simple but well equipped, with air conditioning, a small kitchenette, and a lovely patio or balcony for each one. Parking was very convenient.

The room was huge and comfortable, with a spacious bed and a good mattress. Mine didn’t face the sea, but the restaurant downstairs has an incredible view. The place feels relaxed, the coffee was superb, and the bathroom was fine. Service was friendly, efficient, and helpful.

A simple, lovely place to unwind. There are lots of beaches nearby, though you’ll definitely need a car. The kitchen comes with pans, and they leave homemade oils and Greek treats for you when you arrive, including some to take home.

The family who own the apartments and the Avra Oceanos tavern are incredibly welcoming and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The apartments are in a very quiet spot, away from mass tourism but still within reach of other towns and beaches around the island. It’s about 30 km from the airport and 3 km from the nearest village. We’ll visit again for sure.
