Dmitri, Norway The host family communicated clearly and professionally, and were friendly too. Check-in and check-out were very generous, and the amenities were very well stocked. Everything felt new, tidy, and clean. It’s a stylish, family-friendly place, fairly priced and well serviced. There’s a distant scenic view of the mountains to the south, and the balcony is a nice place to spend a lazy evening with sangria. It’s a ten-minute walk to the stretch of beaches leading toward the fortress and port. You can watch the sea and sunsets from the viewpoint behind the next block, and there’s a trendy restaurant up there with good food that isn’t too expensive. The onsite parking has a steep driveway and tight maneuvering space, which could be tricky for inexperienced drivers or America-sized cars. Street parking is available, and the neighborhood seemed safe.

We’ve stayed in a lot of places, and this house is right up there with the best!
