Villa Katerina Chania

The standout part of our stay was the host. She was warm, suggested places whenever we needed ideas, and clearly cared about our comfort. She's also an amazing cook, preparing a delicious breakfast and tasty local snacks for guests. Her hospitality and commitment to our wellbeing really impressed me. The place is clean and comfortable, with daily housekeeping and good conditions. It's about five minutes from both the sea and the center, but still a peaceful spot to stay.

The apartments are close to the city center, with the harbor and restaurants an easy walk away. Service was excellent, everyone was kind and helpful, and the rooms were very clean.

We didn't expect to be looked after so warmly. The owner was very kind, showed us around at the start, and gave us a map with places marked. The location is brilliant, just three minutes from the beach and seven from the town center. The room was well equipped and everything was fine. Ongoing cleaning meant we were well cared for, and the owner even left us a surprise of home-cooked food. Many thanks as well to the kind woman who came to help within minutes after we called the owner, who wasn't angry at all. Thank you so much for the stay, highly recommended.

Villa Katerina was comfortable and clean, with a particularly good bed and a kitchen equipped with everything we needed, including a fridge and cups. Even though it's centrally located, the nights were very quiet, and we could sleep with the windows open and enjoy the cool night air. Our host was so kind and helpful. She greeted us with a Greek cake and cold water, then made it easy to plan days out by giving us an organized list of things to enjoy. We got the local bus schedule for sights like Botanical Garden and Samaria Gorge, plus printed recommendations for bakeries, bars, and restaurants. It meant we could enjoy our stay without the stress of organizing trips ourselves. The beach is only about a five-minute walk away, and the old town and bus station are also close, around 10-12 minutes on foot. We travel often and usually don't return to places, but we're already planning another stay at Villa Katerina in Crete. Thank you for making our holiday so easy and special. ❤️
