We loved having two terraces and a beautiful view, and even with all the people passing by outside, it stayed quiet enough to sleep. Casa Alba is cozy, spacious, and stocked with everything we could need. It’s right in the Venetian harbor, so restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and more are all an easy walk away. Our host was kind, quick to respond, and even arranged an early airport car after our rental fell through at the last minute. The place was so well thought out we could have arrived with just our clothes. I only wish we’d booked a longer stay. We’ll definitely come back, and I’d highly recommend Casa Alba for a trip to Crete.

We spent 10 nights here in September\October 2022 and felt welcome from the very first message, right through the hugs and gifts at the beginning and end. William and Alba were outstanding hosts, always quick to reply, helpful, and kind. The house is lovely, with two bathrooms, a huge roof terrace, and a balcony overlooking the beautiful harbor. It’s above a wine bar, but we never found it noisy, perhaps because the ancient walls are so thick. We had everything we could need: a well-equipped kitchen, starter food and treats in the fridge, toiletries, towels including beach towels, robes, slippers, local maps and guidebooks, plus restaurant tips. Thanks, William and Alba, for all the advice and treats. We’ll be back. If you want to stay in this area, Casa Alba is an easy choice. Photos were taken from the balcony.

The owners’ hospitality and advice about lovely Creta island were amazing. They even stocked the fridge with beverages and cakes, and I’ve never felt so at home in a place before. This is one of the best Airbnb homes I’ve stayed in. Thank you so much, Noni and William, for everything. You’re the best.
