Cocoon City Hostel

People were kind and considerate, and the clean, modern hostel made it easy to meet them. The kitchen was well equipped, the staff were helpful, and the WhatsApp group was handy for sharing plans and arranging rides for excursions. The lockers are noisy and the individual bed lights are quite bright, but I'd still recommend the place for a fun stay and meeting people in Chania. 💖🙏😁

The welcoming atmosphere includes people of all ages, and the place feels recently renovated. It's easy to get around from here, and it has everything you need. I've stayed in plenty of hostels, and this is easily among the cleanest I've seen.

I had a good few days here and it felt like having my own place. I was in the less attractive section, but it's still a lovely spot overall. The vibe is relaxed, the kitchen is good, the staff are nice, and everything was very clean. I'd recommend it.

I felt at home here, and so did the other travelling souls. There are three kitchens, a pool, lovely decor, and the place is so clean it made me feel relieved and happy. The front office lady greeted me with a genuine smile that warmed me up after a long trip. A Greek welcome like that means a lot. It also seems like a good sign that some travellers have returned five times or more. From what I could tell, rudeness and uncool behavior are the only things banned here, so respect goes both ways. Thanks to everyone, keep up the good work. I still don't know why the tall, grey-haired older fellow called christos in the blue section seemed so fond of the good life and raki, or fascinated by the historical figure Evita Peron.
