Cretan Berry Sarpaki

It’s a quiet, peaceful base in Chania, especially suited to solo travelers or couples, and I’d definitely stay again. The space has a warm, earthy look with textured walls, a woven basket plant, and exposed stone, giving it some traditional Cretan charm alongside the modern comfort. Everything felt fresh and well maintained. The cozy lighting, well-placed TV for winding down, and modern bathroom area with artistic lighting all show nice attention to detail.

The location is perfect, right among the restaurants and bars, but the apartments are still quiet enough for a relaxing holiday in Chania. The rooms were neat and tidy, and the employees were so sweet and kind!

Georgia, the hotel manager, greeted us at check-in. I’m not sure whether she’s also the owner, but she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable the whole time. While we were out one day, she arranged for our room to be decorated with rose pedals and balloons for our wedding. The night before we left, she personally brought us a hand packed lunch because we had an early start before free breakfast was served. The cleaning staff were incredibly friendly and did an amazing job every day. They carefully put away my wife’s wedding dress, organized our shoes, and folded clothes we’d left on the bed. My wife and I stayed here for our elopement in Crete and the honeymoon afterward. It’s a lovely boutique hotel on a beautiful, quiet street in Chania’s old town. The harbor’s busy area is just a minute’s walk away, though you’d never guess it from the street. Our room was spacious and didn’t feel cramped with all our things for a two week trip, including our wedding clothes. We’d stay here again without hesitation on a future visit to Chania.

The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and nicely decorated, in a perfect location. Georgia and the rest of the staff were very friendly, professional, and always available ♥️. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend it, and will definitely come back.
