Breakfast was great and the staff were nice. The hotel is in an amazing location and is well decorated, but the room wasn't properly cleaned. The sheets, towels, and shower were clean, yet there was mold and men's whiskers behind the sink, and the room smelled funky. The mattress needed replacing asap. My friend's room had a better mattress but similar cleanliness issues.

My sister and I stayed in the Contessa room. The suite was lovely, though I would've liked a seaside view. Ours looked out onto other people's outdoor space. Reception staff were pleasant, and everyone we met was nice. Eva and the other gentleman were especially kind. The breakfast staff were friendly too, and I especially want to thank Elisabeta for her great service and welcoming manner. She made me feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast had a bit of everything. The hotel is in Chania's quaint old town, full of charm and great for strolling. It has easy access to shopping, the bus station, and Metropolis for restaurants or fast food. We enjoyed the old town by the beautiful harbor and the modern Metropolis, seeing families, friends, and couples out for a nice evening. We had to climb stairs to reach the rooms, though luckily not to the upper floors. Carrying luggage up and down was hard, but staff were available to help. The weather was spectacular, and we met lovely people in the shops and saw beautiful artistic creations by local artists. My favorite artist sells beautifully made handmade jewelry at an outdoor stand in the Harbour. Each piece is unique, and you can tell it was made with love. Each has its own story and starts a new journey through you, always bringing back memories of that moment on this beautiful island of Crete, Greece. Thanks again to everyone for making my stay pleasant.

The Old Town setting was lovely once we figured out where the place was. Getting close by car is a bit awkward, though. We really enjoyed the rooftop deck, and breakfast was fresh with plenty of variety. Everyone was kind and ready to help.

Katrina went above and beyond when the airline lost my luggage and wasn't offering much help. I can't thank her enough. The hotel itself was outstanding. The one drawback is getting there with bags: cars can't reach it and there's no parking nearby. Everything else was excellent.

Parking was a real struggle. There are no hotel spaces, as I already knew, and Chania has very few lots or spots around town. Still, the stay was great. The balcony looked over the port and restaurants, and the view was beautiful. The hotel is very handy for exploring Chania's old town. Our room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was generous. The gentleman at reception when we arrived was warm and friendly, though the other staff weren't especially helpful or welcoming.
