Villa Orgoni

We loved our time here and hated having to leave. The place is beautiful, with a great location, all the amenities we needed, a lovely pool, and a breathtaking view. The hosts were quick to reply and gave very clear instructions. Such a good spot to relax, whether you're travelling as a couple or with family. Keep up the good work!

The owners are such a warm and generous family. They welcomed us with a basket of food for tired travellers, took time to chat, and shared great tips for enjoying Crete. Their kindness and welcome are a big part of what makes this place so special. Villa Orgoni has wonderful views and a perfect atmosphere. The architect clearly made the most of the outlook, and the interior is beautifully furnished with everything you could need on holiday. We don't usually return to the same place, but coming back this year was an easy choice. The villa and its owners deserve more than five stars, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

The view is lovely, but our experience with the host wasn’t. At first we felt very welcome and everything seemed fine. Then we found the jacuzzi didn’t work and couldn’t be heated. When we asked about the Airbnb listing still mentioning it, we were told they use the term “idromassage” because that doesn’t mean a heated pool, even though the photo still shows a typical jacuzzi beside it. That felt like a small trick to me. It would be more honest to say clearly that the jacuzzi isn’t working. After we got home, we were also charged for damage we hadn’t caused and that was already there before our stay. We couldn’t prove it apart from a photo from our first day showing the scratch or mark. I can’t recommend this place.

The house was great, and we loved the amazing pool. Dafni was a superhost. Best vacation ever, and we’ll definitely come back next summer!
