The place is close to the beach and taverns, but there are quite a few problems with the house. It’s poorly insulated: there are holes in the window frame where you can see outside light, and gaps around the door let insects in. Because of that, outside noise carries inside. At night, cars and scooters sometimes go very fast along the very small street. Upstairs gets very hot at night, so you have to sleep with the air conditioning on. The upper floor is just wooden planks, and the stairs are right beside the head of the bed. Anyone coming down from upstairs will wake you. Everything is open plan except the bathroom. The house door opens straight onto the street, which may not be very safe if you have young children. The bathroom is extremely small, with hardly any room for toiletries.

The house has a cute feel and the beach is really close. Getting to the town centre takes about a ten-minute walk. Just be aware there aren't doors separating the rooms or beds.

It’s a traditional Greek house, and the location is the big draw: the beach is only a three-minute walk away. There’s also a good bakery and a minimarket nearby.

A handy base for the old town, with different beaches easy to get to during the day. The flat is pretty basic, but nicely decorated and has the amenities you’d expect.
