We had two different rooms over our 9 days here, and both were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly and quietly. Towels were changed every day, and beach towels were available if we wanted them. Breakfast had lots of options and was abundant. The beach is right outside, with a stunning panoramic view that made it hard to leave the balcony. The hotel is peaceful but still close to restaurants and shops. Maria, the owner’s daughter who manages the hotel, was especially kind, friendly, and accommodating, doing everything she could to make guests comfortable. Highly recommend!

We just got back from 6 days here, and the new suite was perfect, with a glorious king size bed. If you travel in Europe a lot, you know how hard that is to find. The beach out front, sunset views, perfect breakfast, and wonderful team and family who own and run the place were exactly what we needed. It’s in a quiet area of town, about a 15-20 minute walk to the main part of Chania old town. Worth every step to come back from the busy tourist area to an oceanfront sanctuary.

The people working there, from the front desk to housekeeping, were kind and always ready to help. We also liked the homemade breakfast buffet and having a room with a sea view. Old town was about a 20-minute walk away. We had a lovely stay at Klinakis Beach Hotel.

They helped us arrange excursions, and breakfast had plenty of choice, including local specialties. We enjoyed eating on the terrace with the seaside view.

The price and location were great, and everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even let us leave our luggage there and take a shower before our evening flight. I’d happily stay at this wonderful hotel again. That one-star rating is ridiculous.
