Yasmine Apartments

We come back whenever we visit Crete, because this place feels like home. The apartments come in different sizes for couples, families, or bigger groups, and ours had the essentials covered: a well-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, strong AC, and really comfortable beds. It’s close to the beach, supermarkets, and a pharmacy, and about 10 minutes from Chania city center, while still being quiet. In the mornings, you can hear crickets, which gives the place a lovely natural feel. Breakfast is a favorite part for us, especially the fresh food and homemade bread. The staff are warm, professional, and welcoming, like visiting friends. We can’t recommend it enough for a comfortable and convenient stay in Crete.

The apartment felt like home right away, even though I chose the budget room. The owner answered my WhatsApp questions quickly and was very helpful, and I could use the lovely shared areas. The AC in my room worked well. The beach is really nice and close by, with a good beach bar and discounted beds. A bus stop and large supermarket are about a five-minute walk away. There’s also a handy little market around the corner, useful for getting water up the gentle slope if you don’t have a car. I enjoyed the walk along the coast into Chania and hired one of the nearby e-bikes off the street. It was a great stay, and I’ve told friends about it. I hope to return for another gorge hike.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was cozy and clean, and the beach was just a five-minute walk away. Yasmine was such a lovely, caring host, and her breakfast was delicious.
